Always clean and welcoming. I love Half Price books. I usually go to the Westport location but have moved closer to the Overland Park store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Never regret stopping in!
I recommend shopping the clearance and their dumpster for books, otherwise everything is way over priced after my experience with selling 20 books.
Don't sell your books here, because you might get $1.50 trying to sell 20 books. Take them to a book burning party and have fun watching them burn instead.
Very helpful staff. The gentleman at the counter looked up several books for me from a list I had written. When he found there were none in any local stores he found several he could have shipped there for me. Friendly and knowledgeable!
This store is always clean and employees are helpful. If you want a book, check Half Price Books first. Even new releases and best sellers..don't pay for mark up if it's not needed. The first place I start is the far right back corner, where the clearance is found. Half Price Books has helped me build a small library for myself.
I love this place but i am an addict. Book addict. I live pretty far away but every time l go 2 the city, this is a stop I must make.... great selection, employees are so helpful, prices are wonderful!
