I will at least give them three stars due to the fact I've never had a problem with Nestle Toll House until this past weekend. I went and purchased 15 Lil Bit of Trouble cookies. my total came up to 32.63. I put my card in and did the process to pay for the cookie. on the card reader it read that my card was approved. so the guy that was ringing me up said there was an error, would I mind swiping my card again. so we did it again same thing happen error on his end. so he said well lets go over to this other register, in the mean time I checked bank app to see if the money was taking out and it was. so I let the guy know I wasn't comfortable swiping my card again because my app telling me it was taking out and NOT PENDING A CHARGE. so he called over another guy im assuming that was in charge that day. supposedly he did something on his end to see if it charged me but on the machine that I didn't swipe my card on. Granted it was Back Friday so it was busy but I felt like they didn't care what was going on. so he told me that it didn't go through and that my money would be back on my card in the morning. so I asked so what if it's not back in the morning, I was then told to go to my bank to get a print out showing that nothing was pending and then I would be taking care of. so at this point the guy walked away and I left without my cookies and my money taking. let me remind you I live 30 minutes away from this place. came the next day and of course the guy I spoke to the day before wasn't there. so I spoke with a different manager, she told me at first sorry there wasn't anything she could do and that they didn't charge me. first how did she know this when she wasn't there yesterday and I'm pretty sure she didn't check to see that morning if any transactions went through. at this point I was fed up with this whole situation. so then she tells me that it would take two to three business days for me to get my money back. I then told her I wasn't leaving without either my money back or my cookies and that she needed to figure it. No customer service no empathy or sympathy which ever word you would like to insert. was getting smart with me. Also I stated to here after my cookies were boxed the day before that they put the cookies back on the shelf's he tried to argue and say well if they weren't in your hands then its okay to put back on the shelf. YEAH NOT SANITARY AT ALL. But at the end I received my cookies after a second day of inconvenience. Reminder that I go to this place every week to get the same amount of cookies so I should be valued a little bit more than I was. When I walked away with my things I heard the manager tell the other workers that we need to get this card readers upgraded they are always messing up. so you knew from the beginning that this could've been an error on their end. Also to add to this my money never was return. now what if I had let this just blow off until the middle of the week. what have my service ever again.
Horrible! Just left there! Today is my birthday and the 2 girls working there just stood there looking dumbfounded! This experience ruined my treat opportunity! Epic failure! How do you not know the difference between icing and frosting?! I wanted a sugar cookie with frosting on it! First off, they helped the pushy, annoying lady behind me with kids and acted like I wasn't standing there! I repeated myself 4 times before I finally shook my head and walked away. Don't help someone behind me and then say well there is iced cookies right there! If I wanted an iced cookie...I would have ordered that! #nobirthdaycookiefromhere
