My grandmother's funeral was unplanned, but this funeral home made every detail of her funeral come together beautifully. They were professional, courteous and helpful. They guided us patiently through each step. The grounds are peaceful and lovely, and very well located in an area that is easy accessible.

Very disappointed on two different occasions. The second was with my wife's stepfather. They lost his remains and then tried telling my mother-in-law that she did not pay enough money. They did find them a few days later. She and her husband purchased the "complete burial" package back in the early 2000s. but they wanted an additional ~$800 fee to open the door to place his cremated remains. The first was with my father-in-law. I planned his burial so the family would not have to do it. They give huge guilt speeches to try to upsell. If you try to buy the basic services they keep talking about the families "Peace of mind" and how that is not the right choice. I ended up spending about $17k for the cheapest funeral. Both times I have left sad about the death and also distressed about the dirty financial tricks.

My Grandma had pre-planned her service with Johnson County Chapel so when she passed I gave them a call, they coordinated the transportation of her remains from Virginia, found me someone to preform the service, helped me thru every step of the way keeping me in the loop with good and efficient communications. They let me know when there were options, what the pricing considerations were and why we might want that option. They did a great job of restoration for us to be able to have an open casket viewing. Overall very pleased.

I cannot even begin to express how horrible this place was in handling my mother-in-laws funeral. Something that was paid for as a planned event for 10 years in a death benefits plan was disorganized, unprofessional and completely disregarded when we expressed our concerns and later dissatisfaction. Without going into details like a Dateline episode let me just say do not use this funeral service if you want to lay your family to Rest In Peace and would like to have a place where family and friends can gather and morn for the right person at the right time and place go somewhere else! Truly an awful experience, as if it wasn't bad enough already.

Outstanding staff!
