Food is pretty good here, better than most fast food but also more fatty/grease than most. Used to love the shakes here but then I found out they clean their machine hardly ever.
I admit it... I like Jack in the Box! Where else can you get cheeseburgers, tacos, teriyaki bowls, jalapeno poppers, French fries, AND eggrolls?? You can't! Not anywhere else... besides Jack in the Box! And here's where it gets even better... Show up after 9pm, and you can order a $6 munchy meal box. It's like they designed a whole extra menu just for people who are drunk or stoned. It's amazing. Decadent. Embarrassing. And it always hits the spot! Oh, wait... Did I mention that they also serve breakfast 24/7?? That's right! Pancakes at midnight! Croissant breakfast sandwiches on the way home from the bar! Sausage egg and cheese biscuits for lunch. If loving Jack in the Box is wrong.... then I don't wanna be right!!!
Food was pretty good. The prices are average for a fast food restaurant. I do like the amount of choices available.
I was so excited to eat here when we were in KC!! I grew up going to Jack in the box but have lived the last 17 years in a state where there not a single one! The food is still just as amazing as I remember it! I of course wanted everything on the menu but my family didn't seem to get it so I went the more conservative route and ordered 8 tacos!!! Ha ha!! Now anyone who has ever eaten these knows they are not exactly health food and that the meat they use is definitely not grade A or even B! However even with the cards stacked against them they are the best damn tacos around!! The restaurant itself is incredibly well maintained and the staff have been absolutely awesome each and every visit!! Thank you guys for a trip down memory lane where I found my pot of tacos at the end ok the rainbow!!
Once waited an hour at the counter while the employees served everyone at the drive thru. * Edited to say everyone in line was not even acknowledged * One person in line was finally able to order and waited 25 minutes for a burger, that was cold by the time he got it... I eventually left without being helped. Maybe if they have more than two people on staff in the evenings it would be fine...
