I don't write many reviews and they are rarely 5 stars. Since we are leaving town I wanted to share our experiences with his agency. We have been with Ron Van Hercke for well over two decades. I wish Google would let me rate his agency 10 stars. Ron takes the time to explain your options and why you might consider option A vs B or C. Ron is just a genuinely nice and approachable guy that truly cares about his customers. We have had cases where Ron has recommended an approach that was in our best interest but cost himself some premium dollars. He made these suggestions because they were right for us and not because one option or another makes more profit. There are very few businesses that I would recommend without any qualifications but Van Hercke Insurance is certainly one. Ron, I wish you could be our agent at our destination city.

I called Van Hercke on 7/26 in the morning hoping to get a quote. I wasn't really looking for a lower price, just wanted to switch my policy to another agent. Didn't seem too hard to me. The secretary told me Lori would return my call by 3 pm. I never received a call so I followed up around 3 pm on 7/27 and was told by Lori through the secretary to "look elsewhere"...interesting business strategy.
