The next time you feel the urge to complain, think... Is the current inconvenience really causing you or your family grave distress or maybe you can empathize on that day so both of you can have a day with a little stress.
Love this store for the wonderful dress selections they have for my size. Anytime I need something for an interview or any occasion, this is my first stop. Wonderful prices and once again a great selection.
First of all, I am not an employee, but I know business and a frequent shopper and the many complaint posted here are mere conjectures! Therefore, felt complelled to offer my opinion.
Merchandise good. But waiting 30 mins in line while only was register is open at 3pm is sad. Slow customer service is why I go to Marshalls instead of here, thank u for reminding me this Ross
Its hard work running a merchandise store, and Ross is certainly not without its faults much like many other retail stores, however the many issues you call issues are actually employees trying to go beyond to ensure you are always served professionally and expediently as best possible given the current situation. Its ironic when they are fully staffed, you don't here the praise on the many cashiers working today...simply because it goes unnoticed and complaints seem easier to write.
As for employees who complain, most would fall under the category of being part of the issue and never part of the solution.
Before posting about how many cashiers are on the registers, think about the hard work it takes to maintain a store when you have unreliable employees who call out unexpectedly just for the enjoyment of not working, subjecting their own co-workers and managers with the stress of triple workload. Those days you call issues are actually employees doing their best to serve you with what little resource they have. Before you post about how messy the store is, look around observe the many unruly customers who find enjoyment in throwing merchandise and food on the floor while shopping. In addition observe how parents allow their undisciplined children to treat the store like their own personal playground. Its not easy managing a store under these conditions but the job is done exceptionally well given the circumstances.
Lower prices. Customer service could be better.
We came in on 9/16/17 around 7pm. Super slow, the line went all the way back into the isles. The cashier made me feel like I was living in the sloth scene on Zootopia. The lady seemed very rude and very burdened by us. The line was so long and packed that some lady behind me was so close she kept hitting her boob on the back of my arm. Over all we were getting three things and it took us half an hour in line.
