I love Macys!! Great clothes and great prices!! Don't know where I would shop if it closes! So glad they are not on the list this time around! With all the coupons and discouts, it's like shopping at a discount store, but getting great name brand items!! Only issue there is, is at times it's hard to find a register open to check out....
Cashiers weren't trained well at all. Horribly inefficient. Over 50 minute wait in line.
Went shopping for shoes during my lunch hour today and experienced the worse customer service. Went prepared with 3 different brand names of sandals found on the co website. First lady asked a 2nd lady to grab a 3rd lady to help me out. When the 3rd lady appeared from the back, she stated "here are the wedge sandals" and disappeared. She did not make herself available nor did she offer assistance. The entire situation gave me the impression that I was intruding. This was the worse service ever from Macy's at Oak Park Mall.
Jewelry is consistently understaffed! It's so annoying to be able to see the product you want to look at, try on and potentially buy, but you can't get anyone to help you! This has happened on several occasions. Employees don't seem to care either. The store is nice in that it's clean and well presented, but how does that help when you can't get to the actual merchandise to purchase it! This is a very different experience compared to Dillards or JCPenney where there is almost always an employee there to help.
Absolutely disgusting. Just a dirty mess. Does not look like a department store. Looks like a Good Will. The entire floor is littered with clothing. Found a few pieces that look like they were used to dust the place. Will not be back. Disappointed how far downhill this store has gone.
