Tend to be out of a lot of items, but usually a clean store. Hard to find an employee to assist with questions or when needing fish or other creatures. Seem to be understaffed frequently, but generally the store has a friendly atmosphere.

Update: The managers at the store were textbook ideal in handling the situation. I could not have asked them to be more understanding or cordial. While I still hurt for the pup who is healing, I feel better about the whole ordeal, especially knowing the grooming manger planned to address the situation with the employee who did not do the job they expect.

A good supply of things for dogs, cats, small furry critters, anything you'd keep in a terrarium or aquarium, and small birds. Don't expect anything for your backyard chickens, though! I wish they *would* carry things for them, though... they're getting more popular.

It's a nice albeit typical pet store. Prices are not necessarily good nor bad. The service seems to be lacking if you're looking for expert help but the help they do have does try. Doesn't sound good, right? Why 4 stars? The stars are because no other pet store, out side of particular animal places (ie, A fish only store), are any better. It's just a typical pet store... I believe long time pet owners know what I'm attempting to articulate. The best help I received, during my last visit, was from a fellow shopper. I believe he'd say the same of me. I'm assuming this is, more than likely, a common experience. On the brighter side, their ads do seem to have good deals. The store is clean and well lit with shelves that are stocked. Check out is fast and free of frustration. The store, as most other pet stores, allow your pets with in the store. All I saw was dogs, naturally, but it'd be cruel to leash up a fish and drag them through the pet store. Not to mention, most cats would just mentality flip you off before darting off to eat the aforementioned fish. With the sheer number of dogs I saw during my last visit enjoying the store I can tell it's a friendly and stress free environment for them. That's worth an extra star...hence 4 and not 3 stars.

I've been taking my dog, Harriet, to this Petsmart location since she was a puppy for grooming and baths. We've typically always had great experiences here. The last time we went, however, Harriet came home with broken, cracked, and somewhat bloody nails. Upon further inspection I could see that the outer layer of most of nails had been completely ripped off or broken, and it was clear her feet were in a lot of pain. It's been over a week and she's still incredibly sensitive with her feet and has become very protective of them. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but I would've appreciate the groomer letting me know that Harriet's nails had been kind of ruined during the grooming process. I don't know how long it would've taken me to notice had she not been acting weird.

The original situation: I knew better than to trust the girl with the attitude as I handed over my sweet morkie. But she faked me out that she might actually treat him kindly after she was a jerk to me. She took him, petting and calling him sweetheart. He came home with severe razor burn in two places. One on the folds of skin under his face and the other on his private part. And several cuts others places. How could someone hurt a dog like that? I'm going back tomorrow to address the manager and demand not only my money back, but that they will have the veterinarian see him for medicine at their expense. I'm more than mad. Hell hath no wrath like a scorned dog lover.
