Dr. Thompson is amazing! He's been great for me and for my dad. Both of us needed endoscopic sinus surgery (great genes huh?) and I've never been able to breath so well in my life until now! Plus, I'm healthier than I've ever been, and I've had maybe 2 sinus infections since I had the surgery 3 years ago. I used to swear I had one every couple months, or ones that would last for many months at a time. So much better now. They're all really nice, and they remember who their patients are and their stories!
Dr. Thompson, as well as the other doctors on the staff, are fantastic. He did a complicated procedure on my partially deaf husband, has put tubes in my child's ears as well as some minor surgeries needed. He just completed a complex sinus surgery on my mother, and delayed his vacation to do so, because she was in so much pain. We have had 2nd and 3rd opinions on everything and all the physicians agree with his decisions, and the results have been great. The only thing lacking is his insurance office clerk. She has filed almost every claim wrong and created a great deal of a paperwork nightmare. He is so good that it is worth the headache (no pun intended) of trying to get her to do her work correctly.
Couldn't get me out fast enough. The office has moved and NO ONE HAS UPDATED THEIR WEBSITE OR PAPERWORK - THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE IT ON THEIR PHONE MESSAGE!! So I was late to the appointment, for which I am very embarrassed. I am a very punctual person. When I get into the exam room the ENT Dr. looked in my ears, up my nose, and down my throat. He asks the very basic "why are you here" question and that's it. I am then sent to the audiologist, nothing is wrong (thank goodness), but I didn't get any of my symptoms addressed or have any sort of "Here's what to look for if we need you to come back in the future"...NOTHING. I will not be going back.
I'd consulted with a very highly-recommended ENT on several occasions about septum surgery, but that doctor refused due to a long-standing Afrin addiction that he feared would cause too much bleeding. Dr. Thompson was recommended by my PCP, who told me he had never encountered such issues and has performed hundreds of such surgeries on people actively addicted to Afrin. My surgery was a piece of cake, recovery was swift, and he was extremely responsive to all questions and great during follow-up. I can't recommend him highly enough.
