My girlfriend (now fiance) and I went in to pick out a ring and this was the first place we stopped. Not really sure on the style just yet, the lady that helped us, Suzie Oberweather, was awesome! She showed us some different variations and styles, and let my fiance try them on, but never once pressured us into feeling like we had to buy anything. She was super supportive and smiled throughout the whole process. We told Suzie we wanted to keep looking, and she took down our info in case we came back. Fast forward about four weeks. We had gone to about 9 or 10 different popular jewelers in the KC area to shop around, and only had a good experience at about 1 or 2 of them. Most kept claiming they were better than other jewelers or would talk down on other jewelers. Some even acted like we were in the wrong for not quite knowing the style we liked that was also within our budget. We decided to go back into Tivol and Suzie remembered us immediately even after all the time had gone by. We ended up picking out a ring we loved, and Suzie ordered it for us in the band color we chose. Their selection of jewelry and the quality of jewelry was unmatched compared to the other jewelers. The thing that really sold us though, was the customer service and the experience. Suzie even threw in a bottle of champagne to celebrate with. Our experience here was phenomenal.

I cannot say enough good things about the quality of jewelry and service that I have received over the years at Tivol on Hawthorne Plaza. Specifically, Annie Powell has been my "go to" person that has helped me meet all my jewelry needs. I have purchased items for birthdays, anniversaries, and my wife's engagement and wedding ring from Annie. She has an easy going personality, where I never feel rushed or pressured, and anticipates needs based on my prior history and experiences at their shop. I could write more, and would give 10 stars if I could. I will definitely continue to shop at Tivol's, and know that my wife and I are in good hands with Annie.
Ryan and I both have experienced all that encompasses engagements in "past lives", namely shopping for and selecting rings . However, neither of us ever experienced the privilege of having someone like David help us. He took the time to get to know us and fully understand what we were looking for. Amazingly, David instinctively knew exactly what to find us and had me in tears when he showed us my ring! We never felt like he was trying to upsell, manipulate, or rush us. Not only is David's expertise, customer service, follow-through unmatched, but he genuinely cares about his customers and treats us like family. We love you David!
